Alpine Pond and Water Gardens started as a vision I had of bringing the natural harmony of mountain streams to my family's home. From the Santa Inez mountains of Santa Barbara in my youth, to the high country of the Sierra Nevada, I've always been captivated by the wonder of flowing water.

The beauty and simplicity of river ecosystems guide the designs of the pond and water features I build. Utilizing Nature's natural filtration systems-water plants, rock, fish and beneficial bacteria.-I am able to create self-sustaining aquatic habitats that provide homeowners a restful and rejuvenating environment.

My studies in Biology at the University of California Santa Cruz gave me a sound knowledge of the science behind freshwater ecosystems, but the water features of the natural world have been my best teachers-emulating Mother Nature produces the best results!
